Greece, 2019
Supporting children from families affected by migration is one of the priorities of the Leopold Wild Foundation.

In 2019, the Foundation developed and implemented an original project to teach mathematics, technology and English to refugee children in Greece. There are approximately 100,000 refugees in Greece, 5,000 of whom are children without parents or families.

The Foundation has partnered with local organizations to identify key goals for increasing access to education for underage refugees.

Representatives of the Foundation visited a number of refugee camps and conducted interviews with local authorities, NGOs and refugees in order to identify the needs and conditions of their stay and education.
